In 1937 Nozomu Matsumoto created the first magnetoelectric speaker in Japan, and a year later, he registered in Tokyo the company with the name Fukuin Shokai Denki Seisakusho. In 1961, the company’s name was changed to Pioneer Electronic Corporation. However, the breakthrough came in 1962, when the company entered the Tokyo Stock Exchange and created the world’s first stereo system with speakers in separate housings. Four years later, Pioneer opened branches in the USA and in Europe.
In 1978, the company created one of the best-known and most powerful receivers in its history SX-1980. Pioneer can also be proud of great successes in the world of auto-moto, as it introduced in 1975 the world’s first automotive stereo subassembly, then in 1984 a CD player and GPS navigation in 1990. The company also played a major role in the development of DVDs, plasma TVs and Organic LED display technologies (OLED). The company is currently a part of Pioneer & Onkyo Corporation.
The CT-F1250 is Pioneer’s top-of-the-line cassette deck launched in 1979. It is recognized as an iconic model of the golden age of audio and one of the best looking high quality decks. The CT-F1250 has a beautiful classic design – a simple, all silver front, a display with an electronic blue counter and an open cassette compartment. The control panel is not only elegant, but also very intuitive to use. The model has been equipped with many high-tech solutions, including 2 motors, 3 heads, Dolby B noise reduction system, as well as a digital tape measure with stop memory. In addition, with the CT-F1250 you can use all types of tapes: iron, chrome, chrome-iron and metal.
This model is distinguished by an unbelievable sound. The listener can feel like being in the studio with the artist or at a concert.
The new wooden enclosure has been built from scratch based on original designs from the 70s. Rosewood was used. The wood finish is Chinese oil produced from natural oils and turpentine-based beeswax. Pioneer also got new aluminium legs. Blue illumination of the indicators.
