Marantz 1530L Stereo Receiver. Classic Vintage. Completely revitalized.
Marantz is a company founded by Saul Marantz in New York in 1953. In the 1960s, it was bought by Superscope Inc., and then began to produce in Japan, in partnership with Standard Radio Corp., which in 1975 changed its name to Marantz Japan. In 1980, Marantz was bought by Philips, and Marantz Japan and Denon merged to form D & M Holdings. In 2008, Philips sold its shares in D & M Holdings. In 2014, Marantz Professional was acquired by inMusic Brands, and D + M Holding has been owned by Sound United LLC since 2017. From the beginning of its existence, Marantz was defined as hi-end (high-end), or exclusive, high-quality hi-fi equipment. The company had a huge impact on the development of audio systems, and the greatest successes in the 1970s.
The Marantz series of receivers is the dynamics of live breathtaking music. This model has been extended by an additional frequency range and offered with the symbol of 1530L type. Sound quality is impressive. Clear transparency and incredible softness at the same time are the indispensable assets of this series.
The case has been completely revitalized, the potentiometers are in perfect condition, the metal parts of the case have been sandblasted and painted with powder paint, fired at high temperature. The new side boards made of meranti wood make the set look elegant. The front panel is made of aluminum. Beautifully illuminated blue scale, no need for re-tuning.
