Description
Heco Sound Master 35 speakers. Classic Vintage. Fully revitalized.
Heco is a German producer of loudspeakers, based in Pulheim, near Cologne. The company has been operating since 1949 and since its very beginning it has specialized in creating studio monitors dedicated first for radio broadcasters and later also for television studios and record lables. Heco entered the consumer market mainly thanks to launching a small but very compact loudspeaker – Heco Aktiv 2000K – meeting the hi-fi class requirements. However, the real trademark of the company were the famous Anniversary loudspeakers, weighing 170kg. Heco is still present on the market, although since 2004 it has been part of the American Audiovox group.
The idea behind the “Sound Master” series was to build the smallest possible loudspeakers while maintaining perfect sound reproduction. Therefore, 4 models (SM 15, SM, 20, SM, 25 and SM 35) were created, recommended for various sizes of rooms. The most important, however, is that the whole line is characterized by balanced, very natural, we could even say analog sound. What is also noticeable, is the rather dominant, soft bass, which is often referred to as “velvety”.
The enclosures have been completely revitalized. Canadian maple wood adds incredible charm to the speakers. The grill cloths are made of high quality upholstery fabric. The wood finish is Chinese oil produced from natural oils.
The wood is extremely pleasant to the touch.
The set is 100% functional, the speakers are in perfect condition.
