Made of maple. It has been fully disassembled, old varnish coats fully removed, the stool has then been glued back together, treated with Chinese natural and eco-friendly oil. New upholstery, foam, webbing, and interfacing, springs reattached. High quality fabric, able to withstand 20 000 double rubs. Very soft and comfortable
