Vintage Classic Speaker Stands are an extremely solid and stable wooden construction, designed specifically for large and heavy vintage loudspeakers. The stands are made from high-quality solid wood with substantial cross-sections, providing excellent rigidity and secure support even for very heavy speaker systems. The characteristic cross-shaped construction connecting four massive legs has been designed to distribute the weight of the loudspeaker evenly and reduce unwanted vibrations and resonances. The substantial mass and rigidity of the stands provide a stable base, allowing the speakers to operate under optimal conditions. The carefully selected height of the stands allows the speakers to be positioned correctly in relation to the listening position. This is particularly important with large vintage loudspeakers, where the proper height of the drivers and separation from the floor influence soundstage presentation, control of low frequencies and the natural character of the overall sound. Soft felt pads are fitted at each of the four support points. They protect the bottom surface of the speaker cabinet from scratches while providing safe and stable contact between the loudspeaker and the stand.
The natural larch wood has been carefully prepared and finished to emphasize its structure, grain and the individual character of each element. The massive construction combined with a simple, timeless form perfectly complements classic loudspeakers from the 1970s and 1980s, emphasizing their character without competing with their original design. The stands fit perfectly into classic, industrial, loft and modern interiors. They are not merely a base for the loudspeakers, but an integral part of the entire audio system and its visual presentation. Each set is handcrafted with great attention to detail, structural stability and quality of finish. It is a combination of traditional craftsmanship, natural material and a construction designed specifically for heavy loudspeakers. The wood has been finished with Chinese oil produced from natural oils and then protected with natural beeswax based on turpentine. This finish emphasizes the natural structure and depth of the wood while preserving its classic character.
Each stand is additionally equipped with an elegant brushed aluminum plaque featuring the Audio Vintage Store logo, providing a subtle finishing detail and emphasizing the individual character of the design.
